John/Eddie, just a brief note to say that the basement is amazing. Everyone loves what we’ve done which you guys made possible for us. The bar area is in a word … stunning. Ray’s bar top is a singular focal point for praise, with the overall layout of the bar and the mix of stone, granite, cabinetry, brass rail, lighting and even the windows making it the true “wow factor” we were striving for. The wine area is a welcoming, eye-popping retreat from the rest of the basement with its beehive of activity surrounding the sports events of pool, darts, pinball and in particular the shuffleboard. We’ve also had several late-night Texas Hold-em competitions to 3 AM. Sleep has become a limited commodity this weekend. The overall effect for the basement is one of an extremely attractive, trendy and lively pub. That was the goal and you guys achieved it for us. Thanks again for all the efforts from you guys and all the sub-contractors.
